Despite the name, this page is only kinda "the end." I have one more quarter of college left (Autumn 2020) until I graduate. But it seems like we've caught up to present time, so this is the end of my portfolio for now. I want you, anonymous reader, to have some closure about it, so I want to tell you what's going to happen in the time that this "end" goes from temporary to permanent -- that is, in the time between the current conclusion of this portfolio, and the actual conclusion of my college education.
During this summer (2020), I'll be interning at Facebook as a Data Scientist. I am fabulously and extraordinarily excited to spend the summer learning from my team members and solving interesting technical/business problems. When not doing that, I'll be enjoying the sunny weather (in a socially distant way, of course; at the time of writing, the world is still being held hostage by a pandemic), kayaking, playing board games with friends (over video chat, I guess? This pandemic sure puts a damper on summer break), and reading lots of books.
Next fall, I'll be taking my last-ever college classes. I have Linear Optimization, Modern Algebra, and Topology lined up, plus a Linguistics class just for fun, but my schedule is ever-flexible and ever-unpredictable, like life in general.
I'll update this page once I have more hindsight on the future. Until then, it'll be the temporary end.
